My name is Krista/Celesaphii. I am from Minnesota.
I love to draw Anthro, monsters girls, victorian style people, and cutesy things!

I have loved drawing ever since I was little but I really got into it and took it more seriously in high school. I'm still learning and trying to get better but I have a long way to go to catch up to my artist idols.

Anyways, feel free to note me even if you just want to chat.
I'm a little shy at first but I always like to make new friends!

And thank you for taking time to look at my page > u < <3

I did another Collab! My lovely OC viviana was the test subject ;D

I tried the grey scale shading technique with the legs and bustier but I don't quite understand how to make it work so I kinda gave up on that and just played around. So my shading's kinda all over the place ; u ;

Also, this is week 8 of my 2k15 art challenge. It's shading practice! Which obviously I need more of.

2k15 Art Challenge: Week 7 by Celesaphii
2k15 Art Challenge: Week 7
SOOOO I had more planned for week 7 but ran out of time. So here, have a Background to the piece I have been working on. Which actually I have been wanting to try out more portrait BGs anyways so it still works as practice ;)

I want to get better at them so I can make more prints and shirt graphics and they look better with stuff like this behind them.

So I made a folder for it and have been submitting things and kind of explained it in the art descriptions and stuff but I thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to make a more in depth journal about it!

Last November I kind of stopped drawing. I had been feeling really down about my art and I got a new game (minecraft) and I just kind of stopped. It just intimidated me after like a week of not drawing I still didn't want to pick up my pen.
Well New Years came around and because I'm just like that I decided that I needed to stop being a baby and start drawing again. Thing is I still felt bad about my art. But then I remembered words of advice I've heard from a lot of great artists. "Just keep drawing. Draw every day. Even if it's not good you still got the practice. And not every piece is gunna be bad." Let's say 1 out of every 3 pictures is a good one (I haven't done any research or anything this is just for making a point.) Well if you only draw 20 pictures in a year that means you only drew about 6 good ones. Not a lot right? Well if you draw 90 pictures in a year, sure that's 60 bad ones but that's 30 good ones! And you can't tell me that in that many drawings you haven't learned anything, that in those 30 good pictures that the 30th isn't going to be better than the 1st.

Anyways, my point is, the more practice, the better you get. It's like that with anything right?

So I decided my new years resolution was to get better at drawing. And to do that I would need to draw more!
I gave myself a challenge that would help AND would be more realistic for me. I never did good with the picture a day challenges because things would come up and I couldn't draw that day and I felt bad like I let not only others but myself down. And sometimes I get burnt out on drawing EVERY DAY. So I decided upon a picture (at least) a week! If I draw more than one? AWESOME! If not, at least I completed the challenge for the week and am not stressed out about missing any or not getting a break.
And they don't have to be full pieces every time. I'm not terribly upset with my coloring or shading, more so my style and anatomy and expressions so I don't really need colors to work on that. Not to say that I shouldn't be practicing coloring!

It's like a training regiment for my artistic abilities. It will help me reach my goal of getting better!

Anyways, thank you guys for your continued support and I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I will (and have been)

2k15 Art Challenge: Week 6
I was in a stream with :iconrebeccacablah: :iconslugbox: :iconloli-milk:
And they were talking about frog girl OCs and making a "lolita ball jointed frog doll with a ball jointed tongue".
It sounded fun to design so this is my try at it.
She's a purple poison dart frog (they're more blue purple but yea)
Woo!

I haven't done a points commission before so I don't really know how/what to price things at. I suppose it depends on the character too. Send me a note with what you want and how much you want to give me and I'll do a little research.
